*Governance.
The Sons of Norway Foundation is the charitable arm of the Sons

Minneapolis administers the work of the foundation.

Over $100,000 was directed to the 911 disaster. Over $300,000 was provided during the Red River flood in 1997.
*Helping Hand to Children.
A new project, Helping Hand to Children, provides matching funds to lodges for mentoring or tutoring children.

SKJOLD LODGE'S FOUNDATION FOCUS
Our lodge has a Foundation Director who coordinates our Foundation related activities.
Each year in October, we have a Foundation dinner with entertainment
and a raffle to raise funds for the foundation. Additionally, the
lodge and lodge members donate to the foundation and often "target" the
donation for specific purposes.
