NORWEGIAN CULTURE
Great Norwegians. Leif Erickson, Edvard Grieg, Thor Heyerdahl, Walter Mondale and lots of other great Norwegians.  Biographies and facts.  Good source of information.
Leif Erickson. Good information with additional links about Leif.  Also good Viking history.
Henrik Ibsen. The official site of the National Ibsen Committee of Norway. You could spend days here and at the sites its links point to.
Edvard Munch Museum When you get to the site, try the "Edvard Munch" link.  In this area you will gain a good basic understanding of the man.
Edvard Grieg - Troldhaugen Covers what is available at the museum.  Good biography of Grieg.
Sissel Kyrkjebø.  If you don't think you recognize that name, you heard her sing in the movie "Titanic".  She also sang at the wedding of Princess Märtha Louise and Ari Behn.

Rosemaling-Rhoda Fritsch Vesterheim gold medal winner, Rhoda Fritsch has participated at our Heritage Fest in April.  This is a good site to learn about the various styles of rosemåling.

TRAVEL
www.norway.com Lots of information by regional area and city.  Click on "Trondheim", then "Virtual Sightseeing", then "Panoramas" and select "The Old Town Bridge".  It will project a 360 view as if you were actually there standing on the bridge slowly turning in a circle!!!!
