focused on a Norwegian related topic, and then a social gathering with
lots of good food after the program. There is a raffle held
during the social gathering - you never know what you might
win.
The evening is usually over by 9:30 PM and rarely later than 10:00 PM

PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Programs
We have programs at most meetings. These programs are
typically
related to Norway and Norwegian culture, but we may also have a program
by one of our members on a particular interest they have, or trip they
have taken. See our programs
page to learn more about this year's
activities and the types of programs we offer.
Events
Whether its marching in the Syttende Mai (Norwegian Constitution Day)
parade in Park Ridge, Illinois, attending our Heritage Fest , or
participating in Scandinavian Day at Vasa Park, there is some sort of
activity in which you can participate almost every month. For a
sampling of current planned activities (new ones are added as the year
progresses) please visit our programs
page.
Sports Events:
You can also have fun joining us at our Annual Bowling Outing, and
our Annual Golf Outing.
NORWEGIAN CULTURE
Not only do our programs focus on Norway and Norwegian culture, Sons of
Norway also offers a Cultural Skills Program if you are interested in
learning more about your Norwegian heritage and the culture of the
Norwegian people. This program gives you a chance to focus on
areas of specifically interest to you.
