With  lamps costing over 50% the cost of the projector and all of the equipment new in December, 2009, Skjold Lodge has decided to replace the lamp only after a failure.  Also the average lamp life for this projector is 3,000-4,000  hours and the projector displays a warning near the end of the life of the lamp.  Our projector has only been used a few hours.

PROJECTION SCREEN:
Tripod (floor) 1:1 Format 84" square, bright white Elite projection screen.

PRESENTATION REMOTE CONTROL:
Our presentation remote is integrated into the digital projector (and therefore does not need its own USB port, as the USB cable between the laptop and the projector serves this purpose).  In addition to controlling projector features (including selecting the video source if you are using more than one), limited control of the laptop is also available. Laptop control includes "Page Up" and "Page down" to move through Powerpoint and other software using those 2 keys, "Cursor UP", "Cursor DOWN", "Cursor LEFT", "Cursor RIGHT" and "ENTER" (there is no "track ball" so cursor control is a series of Up, Down, Left, Right, combinations to position the curson before selecting Enter).  A laser pointer is also integrated into the remote.  No key or feature is available on this remote to create a Power Point "blank screen".
