STUDYING ABROAD IN NORWAY: Anna Grinde shares her experiences at a folk high school (folkhøyskole) in Norway. - Fresh eyes. Fresh View.It is always nice to share in the excitement of others, and especially so, when it is about Norway. In 2008 Luther College student , Anna Grinde, presented a video she created about her time in Norway and what it was like to attend a Folk High School (Folkehøgskule). When asked to give a presentation, here was Anna's reply: "A short synopsis is a little hard, because I could talk forever about my awesome time in Norway. but basically I graduated from high school in 2006, and then decided I didn't really want to go to college right away. My sister had gone to a Folk High School (Folkehøgskule) in Stavern Norway. I actually visited her there and kind of got to see what it was like, so I decided I wanted to do the same thing. These schools are just a year off experience, where you focus on one course" . Learn More. |
