The Skjold Building Society is separate from Skjold Lodge and is responsible for providing a meeting location for the lodge. The Building Society was initially created because Sons of Norway lodges are not allowed to own property.
On Thursday, January 20, we will have our annual Skjold Building Society meeting at 7:30 PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church Annex, Mt. Prospect. The agenda includes: A financial Report, Election of new officers, and a Question and Answer period. All Skjold Lodge members are also members of the Skjold Building Society.
