Sons of Norway members provide thousands of volunteer hours to our fraternal organization, their schools, their communities and anywhere their service fills a need. Remember to complete and submit your volunteer service sheet to Anne Shabez, 1629 N. Belmont Ct., Arlington Heights, Il 60004. Every year the lodges are responsible for reporting volunteer acts and the hours donated to support its claim that the Sons of Norway qualifies as a fraternal/benefit organization. Everything you do on behalf of the lodge counts towards these hours. This includes driving to and attending board and lodge meetings, working on Heritage Fest, Foundation Night, Adopt-A-School, etc. We send the totals to the home office shortly after the first of the year. A copy of the volunteer service sheet is included in this issue of Skjold News. Please send your form immediately on receipt of this newsletter--thanks.
