Greetings from the Sons of Norway Foundation!
In this season of Thanksgiving, the Sons of Norway Foundation wishes to thank all our donors for their generous gifts in 2005. Your financial support has allowed us to offer humanitarian aid. We are able to provide educational scholarships and support our lodges and communities through our grants program. The October 2005 Viking "Focus on the Foundation" highlighted all we were able to accomplish thanks to your continued financial donations.
Sons of Norway members and lodges have big hearts that are reflected by the truly wonderful job done in collecting funds for the Sons of Norway Foundation Katrina Relief Fund. A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you.
As of today, September 29th, we have collected over $25,000! Donations will continue to be accepted until the end of this year, there is still time to give to this devastated region. Send your donations, either on-line or by check, payable to the Sons of Norway Foundation, Katrina Relief Fund, 1455 West Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408-2666. All donations will be forwarded to the American Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund unless otherwise noted.
