At our lodge meeting on Friday January 26th, we installed all our new officers for the year 2007.
I want to profusely thank Sheryl Hall who officiated at our installation ceremony. Sheryl is the President of Valhall Lodge in Rockford and the District 5 Youth Director. I also want to thank all our new officers. We appreciate that you would think of Skjold Lodge and give us some of your valuable personal time.
The church is located just north of Algonquin Road on the West Frontage Road.

21st Annual BARNEBIRKIE By Gene Kaczmarek Another great year for the Barnebirkie (except for the snow).
While the ski race had to be re-routed across a frozen lake, over 1,200 children participated in this fun event and temperatures in the 20 degree range didn't stop their enthusiasm.
Members from District 5 were there with Jostein Bakken, and Gene and Tordis Kaczmarek representing Skjold Lodge. Gene and Tordis worked at the starting line.
