Thank you for your support of the Foundation

One part of the Foundation, our Humanitarian Fund, stands ready to help our members and their communities following natural disasters.  Unfortunately, it has been called on in 2007.  We awarded "Helping Hands to Members" grants for $750 due to natural disasters to one Sons of Norway member in SE Minnesota, member of Nor-Win lodge, who lost her home to recent flooding and one Sons of Norway family in Northwood, ND who lost their home to an August tornado.  The Humanitarian Fund has also awarded a $1,000 Helping Hands grant to the Twin Cities Red Cross which was instrumental in the immediate triage of over 100 victims of the 35 W bridge collapse in Minneapolis.  Donations to this fund from our members allows us to be ready for these events.
