BARNEBIRKIE 2008
Over 1,300 Barnebirkie Skiers ages 3-13 years old, participated in the 2008 Swiss Miss/Salomon Barnebirkie children's ski race in Hayward, Wisconsin on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Gene and Tordis Kaczmarek would like to thank our lodge members who supplied cookies for the young skiers.
LATE BREAKING NEWS: At the last minute Gene and Tordis were not able to travel to Hayward and 160 dozen cookies sat in their home with no way to be delivered to the race. Jostein Bakken to the rescue!!!!!! Jostein drove to Gene and Tordis" home, picked up the cookies and drove them all the way to Hayward. MANGE TUSEN TAKK JOSTEIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
